The hard part

Several failed attempts. Apps wouldn’t install, the device rebooted at random, and more than once it ended in a boot loop.

What I took from it

Reading panic logs, understanding the boot chain, and not trusting every tutorial — which is the same lesson the hackintosh taught me later, on harder hardware.
